Transpersonal: trans- is to transcend, to connect with self beyond the ego.

Contrary to popular belief, Abraham Maslow’s hierarchy of needs does not end with self-actualization. Maslow added transcendence to the pyramid's apex, which he discussed in his book Religions, Values, and Peak Experiences. This is an important detail that academic psychology courses in mainstream institutions fail to discuss.

Transpersonal psychology emphasizes your growth potential, focusing on what is possible rather than solely on diagnoses.

Transpersonal Counselling

  • Access the wisdom of your unconscious through dream exploration, archetypal insights, and symbolic analysis. This work, informed by Jungian psychology, is meant to deepen your connection to your soul

  • Internal Family Systems (IFS) understands the mind as made up of different “parts,” and helps people relate to these parts with clarity and compassion.
    EMDR therapy supports the processing of difficult or traumatic experiences so they no longer feel as activating or overwhelming.
    Somatic therapy works through the body, helping release stored tension and reconnect with physical awareness.
    Together, these approaches support healing by integrating mind, body, and nervous system in a grounded and attuned way.

  • This service is rooted in sacred Islamic philosophy principles, as informed by my diploma in Islamic Psychology and training in Sufism and Exegesis.
